Re: Mind the rock...
Chassis is fine. It dented a little support thing on the body. Broke 1 24 year old trans mount and stretched the other 2 almost to the point of cracking... 12 quid on parts and 15 mins to change it all out and it better than before i humped a rock.

Re: 3 seats in my wagon
Trans box lever just kisses the seat so it's fine. 6 rear seats as standard in a gypsy. It's an 8 seater from factory. I'll have a look at an LJ handbrake but I think I can tee Mount this one. Just cut a slice in the floor and weld some angle iron for the cable brace.

Re: nightmare heating
is ALL of the rad getting hot?? I had an overheating prob on an old Frontera my mum had. When the temp shot up some of the rad was still luke warm and other bits were like lava! U could have some crap blocking the cores in the rad, it should be roasting hot all over.

3 seats in my wagon
Hi all. Been a while since ive been on here and taken ages to catch up.. As you might have seen, Twiss has put some rather swanky Audi A4 seats in the front of his zook.. Well being the nice bloke he is, he gave me the rear seats. The only thing i didnt like about my zook, was the fact it (was) a 2 ...

Re: Suzuki intruder
If its an electronic speedo, could be a dodgy ground from the back of the panel.. If its cable operated then the damp could of made the internal wire rusty.. WD40 down the wire follwed by some axle grease might help.

Re: Help overheating
Does the white smoke linger in the air or dissapear fast? .. is it like smoke off a cigarette or steam out of kettle? As white smoke on startup is just worn valve seals. Comp test like the others said is the way to go.

Sounds like the Choke is stuck on. So when its warmed up it floods the motor.
