Sorted the battery clamp got a universal one and i have been offered a chequer plate tank gaurd so both thoose bits are sorted FRanP The lift is plently mate, but to be fair my arches have been cut away and lifted by the previous owner. Gents im after the following parts if anyone has them, a Petrol tank gaurd after market or standard and a battery clamp the battery tray restraint strap i mean.

scottie, it is made from 2" pipe ,maybe 2.5", it was for a soft top so i have cut it in half and drilled it ready for a sleeve so that i could put it in and out as i have a tin top. if your intrested i can get some pics?

Head gasket is now all done and sorted, the internal cage is going back on ebay, going to opt for an external one later. So next on the list is new shocks, heavy duty rear bumper with lights, then the winch.

Alright guys got the head pressure tested and it failed seems something smashed a hole in the head.... So has anyone got a 1.3 head they would like to sell me? Im in essex but would be willing to pay postage or collect if not to far.

Right the roll cage is on hold as i found a little rust in the seat wells so that got be sorted, however on the way to my mates workshop to get the welder out....... the head gasket went, when i bought the SJ the water pump was on its way out we did a cambelt and water pump but it must of been to la...

Right I have sourced the weber hose it isn't cheap at £41 but I want to make sure the standard air system is right before I do my snorkel.

What do most people do with the hot air feed when installing a snorkel? Jubilee clip it up with plenty of silicone?

Or take it off and blank it off?
