Re: Brakes seizing on help.

That's the same as mine. I agree with what you say but it is the only thing I have not changed and I don't know how they work. Is it unheard of for these to fail??? Thanks for the help.

Re: Brakes seizing on help.

I put the other master cylinder on and still no joy and it works perfect on the other one. I would have thought that by now I have changed the fluid about 5 times with all the bleeding. The other valve is on my other sj but it ends on ebay tomorrow so don't want to mess about with it incase it sells.

Re: Brakes seizing on help.

All moves freely. If I just crack the banjo undone to release pressure everything frees up..
The strange thing is no matter where I relieve the pressure ( banjo, top of flexi, master cylinder ) it frees of. The only thing I can think of is the 6 way valve thing.

Re: Brakes seizing on help.

Hey guys just a quick update. I brought a pair of caliper re build kit and fitted them on Friday. It turns out my car has 54mm pistons which the guy at biggred thought were vitara brakes. They move nice and smoothly now. I fitted new flexi brake lines, bled the system. I then pumped the brakes up pe...

Su carb snorkel.

Hi guys
My new sj has a Su carb with an air filter bolted directly to it.
I want to fit a snorkel but don't know how to go about this. Do I need an air box to the Su then a snorkel from that? Cheers.

Re: Brakes seizing on help.

That's great thanks. Master cylinder has no leaks I just thought a re build kit would help the situation.
Will brakes international know what kit I need just from the year of my sj?

Brakes seizing on help.

Hi Guys I've just brought a e reg tin top. Went out the other day and the off side front stuck on. After about 15 munites it let go so I could get it to a pals with kit. We undid the bleed nipple and pushed the pads back then crimped the brake line with some mole grips to get me home (about 10 miles...
