SJ410 hardtop for sale or swap

Great little run around, only used in town for short trips since I purchased 5 years ago. Very straight and original with no rust and lots of history showing mileage from 1995 (4,753) - PRESENT (32,000). Runs and drives well and has never been messed with. In the past 20 years it was used by a Natio...

Re: Recommendations for mechanic in or near London

I've realised the only way my missus will ever let me keep the SJ is if I can fix it myself (and burn all the past receipts). I've just arranged a big lock up garage in Hammersmith at a mates so no more dreaming about one day doing this or that... this week I'll put her on a sorn and start the pimpi...

Fuck I didn't see you blokes had replied to my comment until today... thanks for the feedback! Ok so it's official.. I think I got mugged!!! Re: Recommendations for mechanic in or near London

In case anyone else in central London ever checks this I found some good guys in Stamford Hill who have done a couple of little jobs well for me. They are called N.A. Motors and the old bloke who runs the place (he's Indian I think) has an appreciation for less modern cars. I'll be off to see them a...

Re: Recommendations for mechanic in or near London

Hey Edweird

Ridiculous right, he also said that cars like mine from the 70's were always a problem! He was a really nice guy but come on... Couldn't look more 80's!

I haven't checked the rad or flushed anything, will look into that!

Cheers

Re: Recommendations for mechanic in or near London

Hey Donkeychomp

Good point, it's huge and with the temperature rising so quick I haven't driven it for more than 20mins at a time just in case it blows. I'm over in East London, Hackney so anyone on this side would be great but I can slowly move it across town if required!

Cheers

Recommendations for mechanic in or near London

Hi there, I bought this fantastic 410 and sadly it ended up sat in the street for the best part of a year not moving. I pushed it around to a local mechanic who fixed the fuel lines, fitted a new radiator cap and thermostat but it's sill overheating. Would love to have a go myself but I wouldn't kno...
