Re: New to SJ's
Hi People, This is the guy with 370Bhp Swift Gti. Scottie, take a spare underwear with you. His Swift is the fastest car I have ever been in my life. I had a ride in Nissan GTR with 648Bhp, Westfield with a Hayabusa engine & tuned 911! John, you should tell them your car info truthfully! I'm cop...

Re: Swift GTi engine advice
Filter king will be the best one to buy as they are adjustable.
You only want 3-4psi fuel pressure for bike carbs as they are gravity fed.
R1 can be as much as £80 but you can buy then as little as £40.
Cheers

Re: Swift GTi engine advice
Hi Mike,
What carbs are you using?
I know that if you are using smaller bike carbs, you may be running too rich in order to run your car.
I have R1 carbs in for my Mini and have been told it will work better than any other carbs.
Cheers

Re: Swift Gti engined RWD Midas kit car
Hi, Oh I see, you mean J20? That will be my mate's Mini then. I like G13 engine as I will be happy with 300Bhp. My mate will be going for J20 next and try to get 600Bhp in his AWD Mini estate with Justy running gears. AWD Swift Gti bellhousing has same pattern as J-series engine, so he tells me. His...

Re: Swift Gti engined RWD Midas kit car
Yes, it's a kit car and tax free as an original car was older than '74.
I think you build it to what you want and be unique. I wanted to build a mini Porsche 944.
Is that a good enough reason!? I hope so.

Re: Swift GTi engine advice
Time.... I don't have. I need extra day in the week to finish off my car projects.
Last time I have counted, I have 4!
Still, I will be busy once my girls are older.
Cheers
