This happened to mine not so long ago, I used a wire brush on where the brake pads fit and cleaned up the piston and slid it in and out until smooth, put it all back together and it worked fine.

Will give that a try then, definitely a cheap option cheers

Did it work? I would imagine it still seeping through and eroding over time.

If these springs are longer and the spring pack bolt is in the centre does this mean the front axle has been moved forward ?????????
