Hi Guys,
I'm looking for a service manual for a 1989 SJ 410 Santana. Does I've seen one for a early SJ 410 and a SJ 413 but can't seem to find one for the later SJ 410s.
Thanks

Re: Huw's '89 SJ 410
Well, not much has happened since the last post. So here's what's happened so far. Chassis - the chassis has been sandblasted repairs carried out and painted with anti rust primer, undercoat then a top coat of shiny black paint. I have to admit, it looks good! Rear Axle - The rear axle has been rebu...

What to do with my chassis?
Hi Guys, I've completely stripped the chassis of my SJ410, there is only one thing left that can be removed... the waxoyl (and a seized bolt that's sheared in the thread, but that will be sorted soon). I've been debating about what to do next... I've attacked the chassis with a grinder and paint str...

SJ 410 Towbar
Hi Guys, I'm currently rebuilding my 410 Santana from the ground up. (See build thread http://forum.suzukiclubuk.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=22&t=6995&start=20 ). One of the previous owners had fitted a tow bar, but from when I bought it, I have never put a trailer on the back as I don't trust his...

I can't remember, I look at too many! The one I saw was in bits, the chassis was separated from the shell and painted grey on axle stands.ScottieJ wrote:The green one yeah? I wouldn't touch it! Needs loads of work.

VOSA Clarification on Body/Chassis points rules Some of you will have taken the time to find the rules that govern how much you are allowed to modify your vehicle before its identity is called into question. Whilst the 8 points system has been in place for at least 27 years (in its current form) DV...

Re: Huw's '89 SJ 410
After a long day yesterday, I got loads of stuff done on the SJ. I got the soft top body off the chassis and cleaned up and painted the engine. Now I need to finish re-assembling the engine, attach it to the gearbox and mount it into the chassis. When I took the body off I noticed a bit of rust on t...

Recently I was diagnosed with something that gets worse when I drive along bumpy roads (The vibrations causing my internals to batter each other!) This is a particular worry to me as I was half way through rebuilding my SJ when I got diagnosed and I'm worried now that I would spend all of this money...

Re: Huw's '89 SJ 410
Well, due to bad health, not much has happened to the SJ over the last few weeks. But now I'm as good as I can be, so time to get to work. To be honest, I'm having withdrawal symptoms of not driving an SJ :/ The Focus I now have is warm, quiet, reliable, economic and is easy to drive, but it's not h...
