hi is it possible to remove the transfer gearbox from a 1998 vitara without removing the main gearbox i have removed the 10 bolts from the second flange back from the end of the transfer box and the single vertical bolt thats part of the main gearbox selector casing,tried some gentle pulling but the...

hi can anyone tell me,is there gear mod you can do to a standard vitara transfer box that lowers the gearing down for purely off road use, i have seen a second transfer box mounted directing onto the output of the standard transfer box giving lower gearing and creating a"rock lobster" box ...
