Was not just looking to fit bigger tyres, but also raise the chassis. Would be doing a body lift aswell.
Why would it be better to keep the standard shackles rather than reverse?

suspension question
I need to lift my Sj, I currently have standard springs with 2" lift shackles but the front springs are knackered. My mate has scrapped his sj and given me his standard springs from it as they are better condition. I also bought a calmini reverse shackle kit for the front not long ago, but have...

Calmini suspension too stiff
Hi all, I have a 5" calmini lift fitted on my sj. And tbh it is very very stiff, my sj bounces alot when trying to climb hills etc and struggles alot more than other sj's due to it. Is there a way I can make it be a bit softer? ( silly question I expect ) Would it break if I removed a leaf from...

Re: Free wheel hubs click when turning
Not sure, I guess I'll try the hubs first and go from there. I have enough spares if something is wrong though.

Re: Tbox pops out of 4wd low occasionally
Thats not the problem as the bolts would still shake loose and eventually come out.Russ24 wrote:i made the hole in the floor around the tbox stick bigger. used gaitor out of a old transit. happy days.

Free wheel hubs click when turning
My free wheel hubs click when turning in 4wd, they dont do it when in 2wd. I am guessing it is because they need to be stripped down and cleaned. Which I am planning on doing this week.
But, has anyone here had this problem? And if so, how did you fix it? Could it be a half shaft that is broke?

That guard looks perfect.
I think I will go back to stock mounts and see if that helps.

Re: Tbox pops out of 4wd low occasionally
Well the problem is that the bolts that connect the crossmember to the transfer box keep shaking loose. I took each bolt out and put some loctite on one by one with the t box in place, and done them up as much as I can in the space. And still the problem persists. They have come loose again. I am wo...
