Thanks for reply. In the end I found a way to disconnect the auto choke. It's barely needed anyhow, especially with summer coming up! It doesn't get colder than about 14c even in winter, so all should be well. Re the headlights, I know engine revs drop a bit when you turn headlights on, but I meant ...
