Re: bonnet heater vents full of s**t.????
I have an old but very powerful "garage" vacuum cleaner - I tape a length of fuel tube of the correct diameter (a size that goes through the vent sections) to the suction nozzle being careful to cover up any air leaks. A bit time consuming as one bit of leaf etc will block the pipe but it ...

Re: WANDERING STEERING
Hello everyone, I have a santanna sj410 which is faultless (not being to cockey) ... but my brothers just bought a sj 413 which seems to wander on the road, could it be the shackle lifts? Thanks Could be so many things - lifting the body will tend to make the vehicle less stable but check the...

Re: Removing SU Carb, cleaning and replacing.
So why would I want to change the needle? Also I have cleaned it all out using petrol, is this ok? Are there any No No's when it comes to cleaning it out etc? Im also not sure about the gaskets etc, should I be using some sort of sealant stuff or grease along with the gaskets? Grease around some of...

Re: Removing SU Carb, cleaning and replacing.
Stripped it down completely this evening which was fun, i was checking for any crud or damage etc but it looks new inside. I bought the service pack from those burlen folk for 30 quid so think it is getting a proper overhaul when that arrives. Anything to look out for inside the carb?? Oh and also ...

Re: leaking axle and prop spacers, need some advice please
Chan I've just spent about an hour looking on Difflock trying to find two threads about overhauling front and rear axles on an SJ. I can tell you that the rear axle thread is readily accessible on the Forum first page under "Suzuki" - it's entitled "How to guide - rear wheel wheel bea...

Re: Crankshaft conrod shells have alot of play! PICS!
chan Not trying to take advantage of your sorry situation but I have a spare SJ410 block with crankshaft and mysteriously three attached pistons - it came as a spare with my sj so you can see why I don't know why. It also has the water pump fitted. If you are interested let me know - I'm in the Malm...

It doesn't have to be particularly cold f...

Identifying non-original Suzuki parts by Part Number
I have the following parts which I'm trying to identify as to which model of SJ/Samurai etc they will fit. They are brand new and boxed after market parts - all I know is that they do not fit my 1988 Japanese built SJ410 and I want to place an advert for them at a very cheap price - I really just wa...
